Assessment

This unit is externally assessed using an onscreen test. Pearson sets and marks the test.

• The first assessment date for the revised Unit 2 onscreen test for the 2018 specification is Jan 2020. 

• Candidates may access the legacy 2012 onscreen test prior to this date.

• The assessment lasts for 1 hour 15 minutes and contains 60 marks. 

• The assessment must be taken by the learner under examination conditions.

• All questions in the onscreen test are compulsory. 

• There will be different types of objective, short answer and extended writing questions.
